Launching the must-have rugged mobile tablet for dismounted soldiers

Groundbreaking mobile launch for UK’s defence sector

Rugged mobile makers, Getac, was to launch its first of a kind tablet, the MX50, to the UK defence sector. Built specifically to address the mobile computing challenges of dismounted soldiers, MX50 balanced consumer-like usability with rugged protection.

Getac asked T/F/D to lead the launch, with the aim of raising awareness among key IT decision makers across the defence sector and positioning Getac has leaders in the space.

T/F/D developed an integrated campaign involving a media round table, launch press release and an issues-based content and media partnership pipeline that would land the MX50 into the market with a splash and maintain a momentum in the following months.

The campaign secured 32 pieces of coverage in target media and thought leadership articles directly resulted in sales enquiries. The media roundtable led to coverage in all tier one titles. Media partnership whitepaper included interviews, partner views and industry survey.
